NTN meets with local Community Leaders

Neighbor to Neighbor: A Texas Village (NTN) representatives met with some of our public officials this week to answer questions and gain support for the organization.  Ed Collins, chair of our CEPA (Communications, Education and Public Awareness) Committee along with members of the committee, George Nash, Katy Beauford and David Ramjohn accompanied by Bobbie Nash NTN Exe. Director met with Mayor Janet Moerbe,  Judge Ed Janecka and Commissioners Court in separate meetings to discuss the plans and services of NTN.  Topics discussed included the services to be provided, volunteers and how we are reaching out to the community to gain membership and volunteers.  The goals of NTN is to help Fayette County residents age 55 and over remain active members of the community and allow them  Also discussed was the importance of helping our neighbors the slogan of “It takes a village” is so appropriate in this day when families are so widespread.
